The modular guardhouse, is a Blast and Bullet resistant structure combining the benefits of high quality finished aluminium windows with the strength of steel to provide a secure environment, in the event of an explosion or ballistic attack.
The unit has been designed to ensure that the client does not have to compromise their architectural creativeness, in the pursuit of protecting life.
The new Main Entrance guardhouse at the British Embassy in Khartoum, gave an opportunity to demonstrate the flexibility of our existing product range. A standard design modular guardhouse was extended to incorporate a search area to one side acting as a suicide bomb enclosure.
The guardhouse has been designed to resist the effects of a vehicle being trapped in the blocker and detonating. The guardhouse was fully manufactured and fitted out internally, and shipped to site for placement on a pre-constructed concrete base. The unit was operational within 24 hours of arrival on site.

The modular guardhouse offers the client the ability to provide a secure working environment without the need for major building works on-site.
The unit requires a flat concrete base and electrical supply to be operational within 24 hours. The guardhouse can be manufactured to resist a variety of threats depending on the threat analysis for the location.
The guardhouse is manufactured from a combination of reinforced concrete, steel and composite materials. The walls are dry lined internally and fitted out with surface mounted conduits. If required the unit can be divided internally to create a search area that is designed to resist the effects of a suicide bomber.
Each unit incorporates roof mounted lifting points for rapid off loading and installation.
